At Animal Clinic of Woodruff, we think it’s important to shine a light on our team members. This month, we’re celebrating 16 wonderful years with one employee who has a passion for the veterinary field.
Karen Schurr came to our office in 2004 with a wealth of experience. She started her veterinary career in 1988, and since then she has worked for the Spartanburg Humane Society, Spartanburg Emergency Clinic, and other animal hospitals in the area.
When she joined the Animal Clinic of Woodruff team, Karen started as a vet tech and then transitioned to reception. She says that she chose to stay at our clinic for the “atmosphere, clients and doctors.”
Karen lives in Woodruff with her family and three cats. She laughs because she has “spent hundreds on toys and yet…they prefer a goose feather I found in the yard!”
Outside of work, Karen enjoys fishing, swimming and reading. She is an active member of her community and loves the blessings of living in a small town.
